My recommendation would be Server 101

I have found Server 101 to be a great site to source your hosting package, they also have the ability for you to register your domain. I live in Brisbane, Australia and I only need to make a local call, as they have an office right here in Milton and I can talk to a person in relation to any issues I may have. If you have your own web building software like Front Page etc and you would like an upmarket site, or even a flash site, then an easy way to go would be by buying a template - you then change the content to suit your subject matter. You can either buy a single template or you can sign up with some of these sites and have yearly access to all templates.

Here are a few for your consideration - you can even have them personalise a site for you or buy exclusive rights, which is a more costly way to do it.

FTP Stands for File Transfer Protocol - don't get to confused, FTP is what you will need to load your web site onto the net. Now you have a business how about getting yourself some business cards to pass around - make sure you have your web address printed on your cards. For all your photo and calendar needs. I love this site, I have created calendars as gifts and made photo books - the prices are incredible. You can upload your digital photos and have them printed at 15c each, then posted out to you. Harvey Norman sometimes has a 15c per photo special, but you have to normally take a raincheck and keep going back until you can get on a machine - Snap/fish is much simpler and convenient. They send you lots of specials as well, making your photo experience fantastic. They also do those canvas photos.
